I have good news for the owners of

- Corolla AXIO / Fielder Hybrid, and

- Honda FIT Hybrid

Developed Solution and Have Converted Instrument Clusters in those to English.

Google Translate is hopeless with them. And I was surprised to see over 250 words and phrases in Japanese. Related to various settings and warnings.

Here are my latest developments:

I have a Honda Fit hybrid and personally never saw much need for translation, apart from setting the clock and a few cosmetic settings which I managed fine with Google translate.

Nice to have the option though, wonder if they need the whole car or if one can remove the gauge cluster & freight it over.

Be interested to know how much $ they would charge.

Hmmm...

I have 2 fielders I'd possibly be interested in getting done.
I assume I'd need to send the dash to you for conversion. What's a rough cost and timeframe per vehicle?

I have stock of various clusters, turnaround is - the same day. In Auckland - about an hour.

Google Translate is useless in 80% with Fit's messages.
Considering those cars are all second hand - people will see a lot of warnings related to hybrid system. And there are a lot of specific warnings just for that...

Another name for FIT hybrid is "Grace" - same dash.
Another variation of Corolla Fielder/Avio is Vitz. Vitz dash is on order, arriving soon.
