I have a Mitsubishi Fuso bus. This light has come up on the dashboard. Does anyone know what it means?

Translating the characters seems to indicate it is something like recharge, or charging. So I assume it would be to do with the batteries? Someone else who reads Japanese probably will have a better idea!

If @yann is correct, it could be an alternator warning.... its perhaps no longer charging the battery? Might be time fo a trip to the auto-sparky.

RECHARGE
Any good?

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.
the first word is charge
the second word is electricity
it means your battery is on the way out
disclaimer - i translated one word at a time with google translate
and then applied my global linguistic algorithm on a language with reverse grammar (compared to english)
it means you need to add power to something
my guess is your battery is weak

No, it means there is a fault with the charging system. Probably the alternator.
I means your vehicle is feeling great shame and is experiencing a loss of face. Did you run a red light perchance?

A bit more info needed to help identify the context of the warning light...
Does the light come on...
With the ignition key turned on?
Can you start the motor?
With the engine running?
After a while with the engine running?
With engine running and headlights turned on?
Any other related conditions?

that's it. i should know better, my alternator died a few months ago.
I can confirm that 充電 means "charge", but I have no idea what the error actually means.
Edit: Sorry, didn't see previous post!
Yup either belt is slipping which you would hear or alternator on way out.
