Considering purchasing one. Does anyone have one and can recommend? Can anyone give advice about how reliable these cars are?
Thanks.

I have a 2015/2016 or so Qashqui, the new shape, and I would buy one again. My father in law the UK has had two and likes them. It has been a reliable car, nothing significant has gone wrong. The only thing is the stitching for the drivers seat came unstitched just after the warranty expired. Nissan accepted that it wasn't acceptable and fixed it under warranty. Oh and the rear vision mirror has gotten a little floppy and doesn't stay quite where you put it so probably needs to be replaced.

I get the general sense that the quality and longevity isn't quite as good as Toyota, but I have no concrete reason for that, and it would be expected given Toyota tend to cost $10K more for a similar vehicle. Next time I would try to go up the range to get adaptive cruise control and such.

Thanks so much for your replies, that's really helpful! We are looking purchasing the Ti model so will have all the extra specs. Great to hear your qashqai has been reliable.
