So there are these written off cars from NSW AU. Also seen one locally damaged and written off. Demo mileage.

Heavy impact, not so major damage, but repaired.

These importers claim that these cars are checked by local marquee (eg a Alfa Romeo will be inspected by Alfa Romeo) and undergoes 3D scanning before NZTA will allow them be registered.

Is that true or false?

Coz when I ask for damage report and repair report they never have them. Can't get NZTA report either.

Btw these cars thought they're only about 10-20% cheaper than undamaged they are snapped up pretty much instantly.
