For those that missed it...shows how useful the sentry cameras are.

If they considered the jandals on sock a 'dangerous manner of driving' could be done for that too.

That roundabout out of curiosity. Was it considered 2 lane. There's an awful lot of lane changing going during/after on if it was. Naturally there could have been someone ahead that we weren't shown, but If I were the nutter and already triggered, I'd likely see any moves like that as being an attempt to block in its own right since he was trying to shoot down the side again.

If this isn’t the next tourism New Zealand video, then I would have no words.

You get a meet and greet from locals as you drive away from the airport.

I like that they say he called 911 :-) surely NZ is the same as the US right? (and yes I know it will still go through)

would it?  They’re so insular I’d doubt they’d have 111 work.

Or have the Prime Minister personally greet and drive you away from the airport

Isn't that why Porsche called their flagship car the 911 so they knew what to call when they crashed it?

Yes I know that, I was referring to the reverse, since the US based video talking about NZ used 911 for calling the cops.  I was assuming he did that because he didn't want to confuse US people with what is 111.  TV shows here sometimes do it, but also NZ, as you pointed out, accepts 911 as well.

Along with a few others 000, 999, 112 etc... The ones that tourists are likely to either use at home, or try because they've seen them on TV.

I assume it was just voiced for an American audience who would get really confused with the correct number.

Assuming USD $45k = ~NZD $80k roughly, how does that relatively minor crash cost that much to fix?

Tesla tax.

I take the repair costs with a grain of salt.  You can buy a new one for $80K so any insurance company would consider this a write off.
