Just looking for recommendations on Fuel/Fill up logging and if anyone does this.

I've been using Fuelly, but just looking to see if there are better ones out there.

Fuelly seems outdated, and no proper app etc. Also does not have the ability to add other vehicle related logs that you may want to add (maintenance etc.)

I've been using Drivvo for quite a while now. The services/expenses notifications are not perfect, but covers what I need.

I use Fuelio. I really only use the date, litres and price logging but it has plenty of charts etc if that is your thing.

Interesting, up to now I've been logging my fuel expenses in Google Keep. Will keep an eye on this thread to see whats out there.

Simple spreadsheet. The data's yours and you can do whatever graphing you want. Way better IMHO.

What mobile are you? Fuelly does have a mobile app. It does also accept other services other than fuel ups.

I put ruc in mine and it can give me km alerts when it’s due

I've been using Fuelly Acar for 11 years now faithfully recording all fuel ups and car maintenance.

The maintenance reminder based on time or mileage is very helpful.

Haven't found a need to look for alternatives.

Thanks, wasn't aware of the ACar Version of the app. The app I have is basically a mobile version of the webpage.

Unfortunately ACar wasn't able to pull my vehicle data through because I logged my fill ups using trip meter and not odometer reading.

I guess I wouldn't have previous data if I start with a new app anyway.

You might like to back-fill some data so the app can give you some statistics almost immediately.  Many apps allow for this.  Excel can pretty quickly crunch your trip meter numbers to give you the historical the odo readings, or a calculator and a pencil can do the same.

Yup will most definitely like to do this. I've just added my new vehicle in Fuelio and looks like this is the app I will use going forward.

My Fuelly app has 4 vehicles going back to around 2014, all logged with trip meter rather than odo. Would take some time. Only fill ups though, no other expenses were logged using Fuelly.

How do you add missed fillups? Up until now i've kept records in google keep, total cost of fill up only.

You can change date and time when creating an entry. I think you'll have to make up numbers for the other fields.

Another option is Gofar. It's an app and a physical dongle that plugs into your OBDII port, and optionally a small dash light bar which gives you real time feedback on the fuel efficiency of your driving (it goes red when you accelerate too hard or brake too hard) using the vehicle's mass air flow and brake sensors. Allows you to add your fuel ups as well as services etc and reminders when your service/rego/WOF is due. Plus it's an OBDII scanner for those service codes, and the app can export business/personal trip reports if you have to do FBT.
