Would be if I was still in Auckland. If you have 8-16 yr old kids it's a fantastic day out, especially if you bring a long a few of their friends too. Cheap trip to a proper motorsport experience with drifting too

I used to own a car with a factory RB30, went real well, but it wasn't a Nissan.

Holden? Yep, VL Calais. In some ways I wish I still had it. Non turbo, but then the turbo only added about 35 kw, but a really sweet, slky smooth engine. Good for a lot more power. Is was a big step up from the old 3.3 and hard to believe it's 220 kw less than my current car.

I remember taking my A6600 to a track day or maybe a 2K Cup race and using the burst function for the first time in anger. So, so many images to sort through

Think we all wish we had kept our old cars ;) My first car was a Datsun 1200 coupe. All original etc, would've been a neat project car.... but I wasn't into cars back then so didn't think much about it :)

Pretty sure if I still had it now, it may have changed engine and wheels ;)

Nice pics!

Is that white R32 GT-R N1 stock? I'm guessing it would be worth a bit if it is!

Were there many R34's? There's a few on TradeMe asking serious money at the moment

Yeah I looked through the pictures and didn't notice any R34s. They were a bit of ugly duckling. I'm not sure why so few came to NZ compared to the 32/33. Maybe there were fewer R34 variations to begin with?

Was actually very few R34's, was like that a couple years ago too. Was primarily R32/R35's with a few 33's thrown in.

The 34's that were there though, were very nice.

That is serious money. If you had owned one since new or close to new the return on your "investment" isn't too shabby.
