We may be selling the Thule roof racks we pulled off our old car.

I noticed on a lot of trademe listings people list the foot pack model number and the fitting kit model number.

I have looked over our racks and don't see numbers anywhere, so I'm figuring I am not looking in the right spot.   Does anyone know where I should be looking?

For the actual racks, I think that's a wingbar - what is the full width? For the fitting kit, just look it up based on the car model\year-  that looks like the one that fits raised roof rails?  Not sure if they're actually identified on fitting kit itself.

EDIT: I had a quick look at mine and they do seem to have some identifiers on the inside of the bit that comes off with the key.

i.e. when unlocked can you take this bit off and see what's inside the plastic? Mine are on flush roof rails so a bit different but that comes off and there are identifiers and max loads printed on the plastic inside there:

Could you go onto the Thule website, select your vehicle and see what options pop up there? That might give you an idea of what it could be. The alternative is sell with the note "was fitted to a XXXX car" or something along those lines

Thanks for the replies, I had no idea you could look it up based on car model.  I've done that now and got the information.
