Hi,

Does anyone have any specific products to recommend or avoid for protecting my ute cover from the sun etc?
It is a vinyl one that folds back into 3 pieces .
Worth around $500.

Thank you.

Airplex make quite a few depending on the model of your ute - https://www.airplex.co.nz

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
Maybe I've worded it incorrectly but I was after some advice to protect my cover i already have from cracking etc.
Like a spray on protectant.
I've heard 303 Aerospace is apparently quite good?

Its been the stitching and the edges that have failed on mine, the actual vinyl is fine. Also the elastics starting to go now as well. No issues with the vinyl, cleans right up with armorall and goes shiney again and looks great every time.

Was just the normal one they have always done, the bottle I have is probably 20 or more years old and just what I put onto the black trims when they;re going grey too.

Worked well on my BBQ cover.  I see they have one specifically intended for vinyl spa-covers.  Looks like a few spa pool places sell it.

We've been using this 3m product which seems to work well. https://www.burnsco.co.nz/vinyl-cleaner-and-protector-500ml
