Has anyone used the ScooterHacking toolkit from cfw.sh ?

My ES2 scooter's external battery has died, but since my rides are all short distance I want to increase the power settings back to where they were for ES4, without getting a new external battery. Given its age and general condition I'm willing to experiment on it a bit, but would rather not brick it altogether.
