So wanted to ask anyone here in Auckland central or suburbs have a zero scooter, i want to test the charger if it works, and then go buy one ,

Thanks heaps,

Cheers,

If you are near the CBD, could be worth popping into (maybe call first) Freed Electric Scooters on Nelson Street (Their shop is in the middle of the sugartree complex).

I believe they use to sell the Zero 8, so may be able to help you out.

Just be prepared to explain your situation...

I've heard from various places that when people turn up to stores with E-scooters/E-bikes needing a charger,  staff get suspicious that the scooter/bike has been stolen.

I remember being in their shop down in freemans bay before they moved.  The owner was super stoked I turned up because the person hanging out in store for a "test ride" was 100% going to nick the scooter, I saw a couple of mates down the road peeking around the corner just waiting and ducking out of sight each time I looked at them.  I turned up so he claimed I had a booking (I didn't), then said he was sorry and the place would be closing before he could attend to the crook and he should come back another day.   He told me that even getting their license before a test ride wasn't a hurdle because the crooks know the cops will do nothing about it.

Anyway, we have a Zero 8 scooter with charger.  Based on the North Shore.  I'll PM you
