I have a smashed spotlight and need a replacement tried searching but with the advent of AI it's a nightmare as it suggests every thing but what you want.

Rant over does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement apart from Suzuki if not might have to use Suzuki!

Try searching for fog light as that is what Suzuki will have fitted it as. They aren't a mandatory light but if both aren't going you have to disable them. Previously the lights had to be removed if not working.

Driving light is the other term to search for.

That is a fog light, not a driving light.

New Suzuki Swift Fog Lights

I didn't say it wasn't, just suggesting another term to search for, as it is often called such especially in the second hand market.

Suzuki Swifts are all over the road. Surely any car wrecker / dismantler would be able to help you out.

Web and AI won’t help you.
you just need to look up and go visit or contact auto wreckers in your area.

(you need the specific details for your make, year and model….a VIN kept handy would be better.

most good wreckers would be part of a network and they can find out who’s got what/where.

whee in NZ are you?

you could try “pick a part”, they would be like rhe equivalent of a regular department store for car wreckers and then from there you can find the smaller ones who might be cheaper.   Beware, pick a part is normally self service and if you want them to pick the part off a car there’s a small fee.
many wreckers have items like this “in stock and ready to sell”.

of course, you can buy new….

Good luck.

If you want to go new, but without paying the dealer tax, I suggest taking a look at Amayama - https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/suzuki-japan/swift

Their part diagrams generally make it easy to make sure you're ordering the correct part for your vehicle but you can also search by VIN number in most cases.

I've bought dozens of parts from them for my old Hilux over the years. Some parts come from Japan so can take a couple of weeks to arrive, but others are stocked in their NZ warehouse in Timaru.

Either way, trusted by me and they stock parts for all Japanese makes and models. If they don't stock it, it's no longer made.

[EDIT: Forgot to mention these are all branded OEM original spec parts - no aftermarket rubbish]
