Has anyone here added CCS charging to their Jap import Tesla Model 3 ?

There are numerous YouTube videos showing the process, swap out the charging ECU in the boot and run Reinstall Software.

I know there's someone in Taupo who can do it, but I'm looking for someone who has DIY'd it or used someone else for the work.

cheers

IMHO, I would never ever touch anything related to the charging circuit in your car. There’s 350V DC with basically unlimited ampage around that area so if you muck up then it’s your life on the line.

Even if it appears easy, just don’t do it.

Get the experts in Taupo to do it for you (DriveEV).

I would wait to see if the actual conversion from tesla ever comes thru before attempting this.

Is there a type 2 to NACS cable for the few places you find chargers without cables on them?
