My beloved 96 Toyota Corolla 1.5 Manual ABS dashboard warning light has just started coming on. Light goes out as normal when you start the car (or turn car off and on), but will come on solid at some point.
No brake red light warning.
Only driven about 10 minutes in short trips. Seems a bit random. Has come on not long after driving, but mostly after 5 minutes or so, or not at all.
Brake fluid levels are normal. Last big drive before fault began was for tramping access driving on steep corrugated forestry gravel roads. Few pot holes etc.
So I'm wondering if I have damaged one of the wheel speed sensors? For this aged toyota, are faults around ABS wheel sensors etc logged? I can get access to ODB scanner by way of a friend.
