If there are any Ring video doorbell users out there, just thought I'd let you know Ring are currently offering free Chime Pros which acts as a chime and WiFi extender and includes free shipping (https://ring.com/chime-pro). Use voucher code CHIMEPRO-OHMU4IG2BE on checkout (you must be logged in and have a Ring doorbell for discount to work).

This post would probably be better suited under deals and bargains, but I haven't posted enough to have the privilege :-( so I've posted in the category where the only other Ring post I could find is.

I don't know any of the details (of when this expires etc) or the conditions, I was just offered one when I spoke to their customer support.

After doing a Google search I see some users were offered a voucher code via email, don't know if it works as mine was processed by Ring customer support. But some people replying to this post have had success.

If that doesn't work, then I'd suggest getting in touch with Ring customer support. You need to own a Ring product to get this deal and AFAIK it only works for Ring products.

[Mod update (MF): added the promotion coupon code]

According to that forum post if you log in to your Ring account and have a registered Ring door bell or stick up cam, using that voucher code will reverse the charges upon checkout.
But I went it was a Ring customer support staff member that that processed it for me, so not sure whether the voucher code still works or if it works in NZ.

Definitely logged in and certainly not seeing any discount applied automatically. Do you have a coupon code?

According to the forum post, the voucher code is: CHIMEPRO-OHMU4IG2BE

This is an excerpt from my email dealings with Ring:

While it is interesting that further from the router, your speeds increase, you are receiving plenty of Upload and Download bandwidth. I think a Ring Chime Pro could resolve this matter for you. If you could confirm some information for me, I can get one shipped to you free of charge :)

just checked the tracking on mine, was signed for by the courier, left on my door step.

who wants to buy a ring chime pro ? :P  it would be more useful if I didn't already have 2 ring chimes...

Mine arrived today. Seems like a good little unit.

The Ring doorbell didn't catch the courier as he dumped it on the doorstep...

Seems strange that Ring don't seem to have advertised this promotion, other than through their call centre.
