2) because they want you to spend your money before amazon / warehouse etc does their deals

Yes, that's obvious - but it's a bit like calling Christmas Day 15th Dec.

At least call it something else like "Early Black Friday Sale", rather than confusing poor New Zealanders even more with a gimmick!

I looked at the "deals" and thought Meh !  I'll wait til Amazon is on sale....

Two things:

1) POLi - No absolutely NO - I just close any site that uses it ;-)

2) PB Tech black Friday / Cyber Monday is on the wrong date!  Warehouse, Amazon and all others use the weekend of 24th Nov.... so why do they think they're so special that they can "choose" their own date ;-p

2) because they want you to spend your money before amazon / warehouse etc does their deals

I have to agree, it's a good/smart play by pb tech, by doing it early (it's done after thanksgivings in the US? but no one does it here anyway so there isn't any set event to do it on)

2. they aren't competing with jb hi-fi/noel leemings who would all have the sale then, it is literally pb tech's day!

One you bought your phone/TV/laptop would you get another from the other stores? no

They're the only one with the black friday sale, no-one else has the sale then (duh), they won't have to compete with the other stores for the lowest price because they pretty much set the deals that day while if they did it on the normal date, they'd be competing with jb/nl who'd also be doing big price drops.

at that point who would have the lowest price?

They just want to make money man, appreciate the hustle!!!

I feel gutted missing the Huawei p20 Pro, what I should have done was just added a couple of Xbox games so I get my interest free on the credit card. I dont think Ill see it that cheap anywhere else.

I just got these from Noel Leeming for $410, a cost + deal for Genesis Energy customers (got an email 3 days ago from Genesis).

Did you use the "Contact Us regarding this order" option on the order page? I've always had a quick response using that.

There are some similar deals to BF but the majority of items that were discounted then and now are $10-20 more expensive.

Not in the phones unfortunately. Most of their phone specials are normal prices at many places. Im sure Ill see a Huawei cheap. I know I can get a new P20 Pro under $900 any day of the weak, but $800 was good, its the $600 for the non pro I dont think we will see again. Maybe as the Mate 20 is released more with its amazing features and slightly better camera. Heck if I knew I could get one without light bleed right now Id prob go a mate 20 pro for $1300, that finger print technology is amazing as is the 3d facial scanner like apple. And id much rather the ultra wide angle lens in replacement for the p20s monochrome which I dont think helped that much.

Anyone else still waiting for their cyber monday order to ship? I don't even have an estimate yet and they won't get back to me.
