OmniouS: My girlfriend and I went to Noel Leeming when they opened at 7:30 am this morning.

We were about third in line and managed to get the last two 32GB Galaxy S6 phones @ $649 before they sold out. Apparently they only had 5 or so per store

We may be eligible for the $200 Samsung store voucher as well so we'll try our luck there (http://www.samsung.com/nz/anz/).

Overall, we're really happy with our purchases this morning :)

Can you scan or take picture of receipt? I wonder would anyone price match this offer

I caved and ended up buying the Panasonic Automatic Espresso Machine at Harvey Norman today... I was actually going to wait until end of next year before purchasing one as we are building our new house and was going to wait until then. But the price got me...

Check at the Panasonic NC-ZA1 from HN, and for an additional $59 you have 4 years warranty, that is peace in mind for an automatic machine. Yes, they WILL fail.

It's almost the same as Sunbeam EM9300, both are rebranded of a German/Chinese WIK 7535. But as Panasonic approves it, also at this price and warranty terms it can't be beaten.

Yes it is $2299 which seems right as the original RRP was GBP900 in late 2013, although that was ridiculous because you can buy a Jura. It doesn't matter now as the deal is so GOOD.

Well I can confirm the coffee quality is very good and it can be very hot. (I'm not a hardcore coffee snob....yet.)

But also I have to say the milk temp is not high enough, you need to pre-warm the chilled milk in microwave to around 40 degrees before feeding to the Panasonic, then you can have a perfect hot coffee/milk combination. I think that's a minor issue i can live with, also I have a frothing jug which can do the milk part.($20 from Countdown last month).

Looking up this equivalent model, it looks like it was 500 pounds in the UK, which last year would have been around $800-$1000. I am wondering where the $2300 price tag on the box came from. Were they advertising that it was discounted by that much?

Originally maybe, but it was selling more recently for 500 pounds as shown at http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/home-appliances/coffee-machines/53350/panasonic-nc-za1-review
That price also includes VAT which is more than our GST in NZ.These type of things often drop a lot in price after they are released, especially if they aren't too popular at the higher price.

And since when did overseas pricing ever translate to what we pay in NZ? We all know by now Harvey Norman doesn't change white sticker pricing even as price falls over time. They just keep the ticketed price and advertise discounts.

I was just in a Dick Smith with a "Clearance" sign over their PS4s at $569.

This is why it is always a good idea to google the product, and to see what it is selling for elsewhere, rather than rely on the white sticker price on the box, which maybe higher than the current RRP on the manufacturers website, which the manufacturer may change from time to time.

Yes the Cafeitaly one. It is good and consistently hot in high 60 degrees range. The whisk is also a nice “spindle-less design”, much better than the Warehouse equivalent. Normal price is $49 which I think is too high because you can get Nespresso Inissia with Aeroccino3 for $99.

I was originally planing to buy a Breville BES840 and a grinder. Also after seeing the Panasonic......

If you buy the Panny, my advise is please do buy the extended warranty unless you only plan to keep it for a year. The automatic espresso machine probably is the most prone to fail home appliance, doesn't matter which brand.

Well it's just my opinion anyway. But I think you can still go back to HW and get the warranty.
