Not according to the specs. HDMI out only, not in.

Supports 3dBluray, as an in-built BD Player ..

Anyway, looking at the specs, what's with the 30% distortion ?

Im after something cheap for pushing the PS3 through to take advantage of 5.1. This one dosent have that ability though.

I'll just have to keep saving for an amp and speakers..... :)

It's got an optical input by the looks, could always use that for a PS3.

By the looks of it it does have an optical input. However sounds like you may be wanting something like one of the sony home theatre amps. They had a sony 7.1 version 4k bypass on special in the boxing day sales for $290

It supports HDMI ARC for getting audio in from the TV on the one HDMI cable if the TV also supports HDMI ARC. Sadly my 4 year old LG does not. Have ordered an optical cable. Would only use it for movies.

No issues linking an iPhone 4 via Bluetooth. Worked fine for 2 hours of iheartradio app usage.

It is a good deal but the thread title is misleading. I only looked because a receiver would be much more useful and would have an HDMI input.

Tell you what, you fix the typos in that post to the extent I can actually understand the sentence and I'll answer. I went and got one of these at lunchtime.

Has anyone got one of these setup yet? I got one for my parents, and it has two major problems. One is that when you switch it on in the AUX mode for listening to the TV, and it will eject the disk tray. If you have a cabinet with a glass door this is a major problem. as you have to leave the door open. Never come across a dvd player which ejects as soon as you switch on, even  if the blu ray/ dvd mode isn't selected. Also the remote doesn't have a open/close button, so you have to go up to the player to then close it. The other problem is that after 20 minutes of watching tv though it, the amp/bluray unit switches itself off, even though audio is still coming out. The instructions say that it will switch off after 20 minuts as a power saving feature, but that is only when it isn['t being used. Therefore it doesn't seem to be detecting that there is sound outputing in the  AUX mode. Will probably have to return it if these are known faults with it. Although would be interested if other people have the same issues. To select between the different fuctions is also a pita. Switching back to AUX, from DVD playback is a mission, as you have to keep pressing the selector button, and it is very laggy with the switching, and often it will go into the radio setting. Panasonic hasn't invested much in their usability.

Will try mine this weekend.  I have an optical cable coming by courier.

I have to somewhat agree with this.  Using the Selector button is very laggy and there are too many options to scroll through.  There is a better (but definitely not obvious) method, however (if you have the TV on).  Hit the HOME button, and then hit the OPTION button to see the list of inputs (Bluetooth, Radio, etc).  I've put a tiny label on the top of ours on how to switch to Radio when the TV is not on to display the menus (HOME, OPTION, DOWN, OK), as we are using this device as our living room radio.
