I can understand why you cant get a reciept till you have taken the goods, but IMO (again) it should be automatically generated upon collection of the goods.

I do like the blurb... the one where the soundbar description puts down the TV's they sell.

"This affordable soundbar from iconic British brand Wharfedale is on a mission to save you from the frankly pathetic sound quality offered by todays slim TVs."

Hi
I walked into Noel Leeming yesterday and picked up the Wharfdale Vista 100 soundbar $99.
Hooked up to my Samsung 40 led smart tv UA40EH5306 MXRD with optic, working fine with TV on Freeview from Satbox (7090PVR HDMI) and bluetooth from phone.

Not working for Netflix streamed via wifi?

Any advice on how this can work with Netflix via wifi, as this is the main reason for buying the soundbar?

I am on the 1 month trail for Netflix, it is streaming fine on basic ADSL, Flip.

Hi Kotoku4,

Please create a new topic in the Home Theatre section if you are having trouble getting your equipment set up correctly.

May I ask which branch you bought your Vista 100 from?

I bought one on line on Thursday afternoon and was emailed later to say it was ready to collect at Wairau Park. When I got there, they told me there was no stock and it seems likely they sold my one to someone else.
Not very professional. I'm hoping they haven't oversold these like their sister company Warehouse Stationery did with the LG smartwatches a few weeks back.

Hi Spong
Was purchased at Blenheim store.  To my surprise they had a two or three on the shop floor, so I nabbed one. Usually they would be out of stock of any sale item I'm interested in.

Similar happened to me a year or so back  (with an SD card that was at a good price).  Looks to me like their on-line ordering system simply says "OK" to the buyer if it sees that the store you want to pick up from has stock, and hopes it doesn't get sold, or if it does notify the store to put one aside for you the staff ignore it or don't read the notification.  Doesn't appear their POS system is smart enough to put a 'sold, awaiting collection' status on said item.

( To their credit they did manage to source one from another branch and couriered it to me free of charge.)

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

If I can just ask, anyone got Netflix working fine through this Wharfedale soundbar on other brands of TV ? Thinking of getting one for a 2013 Sony TV or maybe a Veon. Thanks.

Check the audio output options on your TV.  I had to change my LG TV from "Auto" to PCM to get all sources working.

Got mine today. None on the shelf but the collection experience worked all the same relatively smooth.

Initially the guy asked for an invoice (which they don't send at purchase). I offered my card number but that is not useful. Then he asked for my phone number and used that to look up orders. Nothing found. He went out the back to look for it anyway. No find. While he was doing that I searched mail for an order reference number. Also not useful. I forgot I had initially asked someone else to collect it. He found it out the back under that other name. Relatively smooth and issues caused result of my mistake mostly.

No invoices with the products so I asked him to print one at the desk. Not a problem all good.

First use tonight. Bluetooth pairing is a bit slow but works just fine.

No batteries for remote in the box. That seems unusual these days. Did yours come with batteries?

No batteries in mine. The box says batteries not included.

None in mine. At least they didnt do what samsung do an include the cheapest nastiest leakprone batteries possible with a tv, when there are samsung branded batteries made.

Used the sale and got my father a 2TB Seagate External (Powered) Drive for $95
Walked in to Dunedin NL, grabbed, paid and walked out. Thankfully didn't have to deal with any helpful customer service people
