Really? My parents are looking for something, so I might point them to it. Only $99, can't go too wrong I guess?

I just got one of those Soundbars - really well reviewed and such a sharp price - anyone have any idea how long Noel Leeming take for click and collect confirmation? - would be great if I can go pick up today

That soundbar does look a good deal and seems to have decent reviews. Haven't got room for a full home theatre so wouldn't mind something like that.

if anyone else is doing click and collect - they emailed back within an hour saying it was ready to collect - which seems pretty quick since they must have to verify that the Store does have it in stock and not just in the system as having stock - very happy with my purchase

Small speakers in it, so no bass. I thought that would be the whole point of an external speaker ?
Still, cant expect too much for a $99 amplified speaker

Yeah lower volumes should be ok. Cheap upgrade for cheap TV at that price.

I bought one of those $99.99 Wharfedale Soundbars on Thursday from NL using "Click & Collect" from Wairau Park.  On Thursday evening I received a "Processing" email and then another email to say it was ready to collect from Wairau Park.

With Friday being a holiday, I called in this morning Saturday, only to be told there was nothing there for me to collect, and there were 5x on backorder.  Looks suspiciously like they sold my one as shop stock. To put it diplomatically, I was NOT impressed by the "Couldn't Care Less" attitude of the Gen Z girl who served me.

The fact that I was holding the printed email stating it was ready to collect, and I'd made the trip to collect it especially, was lost on her. Thankfully the Floor Manager was nearby and offered to drop it in when it arrives as he lives nearby. I hope they actually front up with stock. I see they sold out sometime today.....

As you have already paid, then they have sold _your_ speaker to someone else. IMO thats pretty clearly fraudulant.

When I picked up my click and collect they just got it from the floor stock - I was quite surprised it hadn't been put to the side or out back

When I have done click and collect at DSE its always been behind the counter with my name on it, the way it should be.

They should not be emailing that it is available untill the stock is located, reserved and put aside IMO.

It looks very much like they supply from shop stock if they have them there, but the system breaks down if they haven't put one aside for when you come to collect.

It looks very much like they sold my one to an in-store customer, but they'll be reluctant to admit it. Surely they must have systems in place to avoid this happening? Makes me pretty angry as I was able to try out the display model.

You can try complaining to the head office about it, but IME they just exist to do nothing. Stores also dont seem to have any ownership of problems in them.

They had my item out the back, when they did have quite a few of the items of the floor. What annoys me about their online buying, and collecting, is that you don't get a tax receipt. You have to email them afterwards to get it emailed to you.
