IronH: Reading these bargain posts lately, there seems to be a fair amount of whinging going on.
People make mistakes - let it go. Also companies try to make profits, this isn't something new.
I can understand peoples frustration, but seriously, just because some here didn't get to rip JBHifi off on an obvious pricing error, doesn't make them a terrible company. personally, I think it reflects badly on the individual more than JBHifi.
People are complaining about how they handled it, not that there was an error. Sure companies can make the rare error as long as it isn't intentional and a trend. They however don't appear to have canceled the orders based on a 'pricing error', just a clause that allows them to cancel any order they don't want to if they don't want to furfill it. This means that even a product with a small price reduction could have the order canceled if they choose. They also didn't didn't even respond to customers questions about the error (to date), and they have two different versions of their terms and conditions on their website. The terms which people agreed to wasn't the one that contained the clause number which they canceled it under, and it is very important terms and conditions are all up to date and accurate, and there aren't different versions.
