Is there a windows app for Spotify, or do you have to load the full PC programme via the desktop.
Sorry, no idea how this works on a tablet, using your finger instead of a mouse...

mattwnz:macuser:mattwnz: It is only a 12 month office 365 subscription though isn't it? I looked on tehri website, and it isn't listed on it, so maybe only a few instore.
Yeap, 1 year...
6 Months for the Dropbox storage which is a bit weird...
for $99 though...
Installing Windows 10 for a laugh
Yeap, good for $99, but must only be a few instore left. Shows these small windows tablets are being sold very cheaply these days, maybe due to lack of apps for them.

It installs fine - the tablet experience is pretty disjointed atm.

Jaxson: Windows on 1GB RAM sounds nasty...
richms: Do the dropbox and office 365 deals stack or would I have to wait till the ones I have expire?

Windows 8.1 on a 32GB quad core tablet that is less than the cost of a Windows License, as well as less than the cost of Office 365
1GB won't get you far, but it seems speedy enough for the price point
Can you hook it up to a bigger screen, and plugin a keyboard and mouse. If so, it would make a reasonable student computer, if you buy a cheap monitor.

I have a stream8 with similar (same?) guts and it works pretty darn well all things considered, happily streams Netflix and HD movies, surfs the web and Office all without trouble
The only downfall in these things is a lack of easy video out option and combined microUSB charger/port, both easily rectified by Plugable Pro8 dock http://plugable.com/products/ud-pro8

No this would be a bad idea.
It has 1gb of RAM, which will make it slow running desktop apps, and it has no HDMI output.

They are cheap because they are cheap to manufacture
There are 16,000,000 different Win32 and .NET programs being run on Windows PCs every month, and this device can run most of them.
