Also if you are going to order one off Noels online then use code MYNL16W10 for $10 off (for click and collect). Or use mysfreedel for $10 off and free delivery.

you could then screen shot this and see if WHS will do 5% off that :P

To make things easy buy from warehouse stationery on or after 6th July as their special pricing ends on 5th July where as Noel leeming's special price ends on 29th July for this phone,

Noel Leeming will match a competitors price and Warehouse Stationery will beat it.

If you keep playing them off against each other, one of them will pay you to take their phone...

NL will only match the advertised price, which would be the first price, and even then it can be difficult to get them to match the price. They are owned by the same parent company anyway, so no matter who sells it, the parent company will still be getting the sale out of it. Looks to be a nice phone for the price. A Nexus is the only Android phone I would buy these days, due to problems with manufacturers dropping support relatively early for android early in the phones life cycle.

Anyone bought from these guys before?

I take it you believe the price premium is worth it for big local company and non parallel import?

Postage insurance as an option? That's new to me.

Buying from NZ gets you CGA protection, which IMO is worth the $60 price premium. Plus buying locally from a NZ owned company, supports NZ economy more.

My wife has announced she'd like to give up on her windows phone and move to android or ios, but neither of us know anything about what's what anymore (been living in the windows bubble for a while).

Is this a good price for a decent phone?

The bargain of the century?

Or just what you pay for something good?

A big problem with Android manufacturer ecosystem is regular o/s and security updates.

Nexus phones get updates as soon as they are released by Google. Updates are not a problem with Nexus.

This is a solid mid range phone with updates available faster and longer than anyone else.

After a lot of internal debate I have decided that I will wait and see what happens regarding this year's Nexus device(s)
