The warehouse tabs are parallel imported - looking at the boxes.

Cant imagine it should be an issue though - they are much cheaper than the supermarket price.

the great thing about these is they are portioned. Previous flatmates would pack the dispensing box way too full because it "needed to be really clean" and chewed thru the powder for no real gain.

I never put sharp knives through the dishwasher (they are so quick to clean anyway), but I've put my Riedel crystal glassware through many times with the tablets and it's all fine.

I grabbed some of those TWL tablets for $10 - good price.

Also grabbed some $3 LED Light Bulbs - can't not at that price.

The thing I like about the Eco one is it includes a measured scoop. I am guessing that other powders don't because you can't get the powder in contact with the skin, which is a risk when using a scoop.

I think that is an everyday price. It is interesting how cheap the LEDs are now getting, however I have found some cheap ones don't last very long, I have had a lot fail after only a few months. They tend to be the light weight ones.

I look at it like this way

Price of LED - Price of Normal Bulb - Power Saving.
If greater than 0 then win.

For $3, surely it doesn't need to last for that long to work out cheaper.

Oh wait. Cost of replacing bulb. Oops.

Do the $3 ones have any flicker? The cheap ones seem to be really bad and just series up a whole lot of LEDs with a current limiting capacitor (capactive dropper) and no smoothing so they are painful to be under.

I'll open one up when i get it and report back with pics etc.

Might even try rig up some sort of stress tester.
Lamp + relay + counter. Stick it in the spare room and confuse the neighbours.

I notice a flicker when they are near to dying. Although they don't tend to totally fail they seem to revert to a soft glow when they fail. I am guessing they are overheating, and a part inside is failing, due to a not having a good enough heat sink. I have some that are 4 years old, Philips, which are still going strong, but it is the no name brands that seem to fail prematurely. Have returned a lot for replacements within a year, but even those replacements have also failed.

OK, I got some cheapie mitre10 ones which flicker so are going to get chucked out when I get around to cleaning up. Am very suspitious of cheap LEDs now.

If your interested the mitre10 glenfield near me have some clearance $10 dimmable 4000k lamps in both e27 and b22. No flicker but not tried dimming them yet. Picked up heaps to stick in the softboxes I have on the way to me. Flicker in LEDs is terrible for videoing things.
