I got a decline from Bigpipe this morning. They said promo code is for new customers only.

BigPipe say they have added to my account smile

(not sure were I can see this when I log into my BigPipe account)

I signed up for BigPipe couple weeks ago, the fibre (ONT) installed only yesterday

Are they doing it because for the most basic user, Bigpipe isn't the cheapest anymore? Seeing 60-70 per month for basic fibre with some newer providers...

Skinny $68pm UFB naked100/20.

Unlimited internet naked UFB 30/10 $60pm

Unlimited internet $70pm naked UFB 100/20.

And no doubt there will be other RSP's that reduce to this pricepoint.

And another one.

$20 per month for a static IP... that puts them well out of the running.

Got declined. Disappointed by the inconsistency, if it was an all out 'no' for all existing customers I would be OK with that.

Same thing here, flat out ‘not for current customers’

‘The VICDEALS promo is only for new customers who join Bigpipe. As you currently have a connection with Bigpipe and have been a customer for some time, you do not qualify for this promotion’

A shame really it would have been nice for a stand out moment from a great company to help there existing customers but not expected.

same here...

"Thanks for getting in touch!

When you signed up to Bigpipe you used the promo code UFBSWITCH. As this is already applied to your account you're not able to add another promo.

If you want to ask about the same question or give more information, it’ll make it heaps faster for us to help you out if you could reply back to this email."

That sucks but oh well.

Spark have 3 months free when you join which works out to be $105 per month on an unlimited FibreX plan over 12 months with Lightbox free (if that streaming service appeals).

Static IP is a rip with them but if you use duckdns.org or something similar then your set I guess.

Just don't know what the experience is with SPARK compared to BIGPIPE (who I'm currently with at the moment) and of course that price is only for 12 months then will go back to the $139.99 after that's up.

I posted this deal (after seeing it here) on Choice Cheapies. A person over there commented saying the same thing, they managed to get the discount applied to an existing account.

Dear @joshbigpipe / @bigpipeNZ

Perhaps in the interests of goodwill you could offer a GZ discount code that CAN be retroactively applied to our accounts.
