Just thought I'd share this:

Vic Deals (a large Facebook group I'm subscribed to) currently have a deal with BigPipe giving $10 off per month for 12mo on a no-contract broadband plan. Looks like this deal is for anyone. Furthermore using a referral link will give you a further $20 credit. This makes 100/20Mbit UFB, for example, $69/mo with the ability to add a static IP also.

So if you dislike your ISP I encourage you to give them a go - they're great!

More information here: https://www.bigpipe.co.nz/vicdeals

And, if you want $20 credit you can use my referral here. Just enter the promo code "VICDEALS" when signing up.

Just logged a ticket asking them to apply it to my existing account, will see how we go :-) Bloody fantastic if they will apply it to existing customers thou (If only other ISP's were that awesome!)

Are they doing it because for the most basic user, Bigpipe isn't the cheapest anymore? Seeing 60-70 per month for basic fibre with some newer providers...

I tried to get I loaded in my account and was told no as I had used a promo code when I originally joined.
Pretty lame excuse.

I'm pretty sure a BigPipe staff member around here should be able to help - @BigPipeNZ, @IPv6Pipe especially since other people here have got it.

Skinny $68pm UFB naked100/20.

Unlimited internet naked UFB 30/10 $60pm

Unlimited internet $70pm naked UFB 100/20.

And no doubt there will be other RSP's that reduce to this pricepoint.

This is what I was told...

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us.

We won't be able to apply this promotion code to your account as it is for new customers only. Sorry about this. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Cheers,

Bogdan

I'm not exactly thrilled with the performance of Bigpipe lately, but a $10 per month discount would make it easier to overlook those issues.
