The 4gb limit i stuck was on a Nexus 6p so maybe it's the file system that Google uses and doesn't apply to other brands.

I am still waiting on mine.  The tracking went dead after the first update.  I am guessing that it's on it's way and the tracking is wrong because Amazon has awesome shipping but who knows.

Does anybody have an opinion if the current PNY sd cards on sale are better than these?  It's all a confusing mess of claimed read\write speeds which are probably lies anyway.

Reading the reviews at face value, many are saying these cards may be too good to be true. That is, fake.

Why would sandisk sell fake versions of their own cards?

At least, the sellers name is sandisk, you'd think this would be the official sandisk company.

@landcruiserguy, yeah, if you picked the cheapest shipping it usually takes a big week to get here, so it should arrive this week, though it is kinda unusual to have no tracking updates past the first one since you ordered it. Fingers crossed it's still moving.

As for speed, for the SanDisk ultra 400GB seems to be pretty decent judging by a review from someone last month: https://amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RI4JKU29G9YA0

Though if you wanted speed you should get one of SanDisk's card in there "Extreme" range. Or Samsung cards, as they usually advertise both read and write speeds on the cover, and are pretty close from the few I've tested.

I ordered on 31/1 and it says expected arrival on 18th feb but in my experience things generally arrive well before the predicted date.  I have only done one return on Amazon and it made taking something back to a NZ retailer feel like getting punched in the head.  I will keep waiting, I think the tracking (which says it hasn't left the states) is wrong.

These are now down to $62.30USD - deal of the day so only for 24 hours.  Mine (ordered at $80usd) never arrived so Amazon gave me a refund.  I just reordered at the cheaper price.  Yay!

richms:

Link to amazon. came up in a facebook group I am on

$83.97 + $5.11 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to New Zealand

Compare to $399 at Noel leeming and that's quite a decent price. But charging GST will solve all those retailers problems right ;)

I cannot wait until they the GST charging comes in, because they are also going to increase the import fees threshold to $1000.  15% gst is not a huge inconveniences when you can still safe hundreds of dollars.
