You can just invest manually instead of using the autoinvest, and that will use any amount in your wallet. I have never used the autoinvest myself.

Clarifying above, you don't need an "automatic" payment. You load money into your wallet (via credit card with a fee or via online banking deposit) and then can either schedule automatic investments or manually buy funds and shares. 

 

On other news, sometime later this month Sharesies will start offering access to US shares. If you want to get some of those, never a better time than creating an account now and getting $15 for nothing.
