Dingbatt: I have wanted to have a play with some WeMo (Belkin) stuff but have always been put off by the price. However Harvey Norman have the switch / sensor combo on BF special for $48 (normal price from them $159). I have seen the unit specialed at Noel Leeming previously but not that low. I know it is runout stock but i couldn't resist, now I just need to find a use for it......

Thanks I just grabbed a couple.

And yet still less than half the price of its successor......

Hibino: Need to be careful if you buying a lot from overseas even every parcel is much less than NZD400 but customs still might charge you if all the parcel arrived in NZ about the same time and the total value is >= NZD400.

I bought quite a lot from Amazon since last Friday when they started the deals and every single item is just half price or even less compare to NZ retailers but the total amount is about to reach NZD600. There was no problems for the first few days but since yesterday few of my parcels shows "Your shipment is part of a multiple lot to New Zealand which requires special handling and may be delayed" and Amazon starts to charging me NZD148 "Import Fees Deposit" for an item that is valued at NZD258 which never happens before so I got a really bad feeling about this.

And I just saw the news few days ago:
http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/74363309/nz-post-may-impose-20-parcel-delivery-fee-if-gst-threshold-slashed
Compare to AU where everything under AUD1000 is duty free I don't what to say if above news comes true.

totally normal

http://www.whatsmyduty.org.nz/faq

What if I split my purchases to keep the value below the amount where duty or GST are payable?
The value of an importation is based on all goods imported by a company or person at one time and is not limited to a single financial transaction. If a group of several items, purchased separately by the same person or company, arrive in New Zealand at the same time, the value of these items may be combined which could result in charges becoming payable

You mean the Motorola Nexus 6 or the latest latest Huawei Nexus 6P?

The Motorola Nexus 6 it is

Under 12 Days of Deals, Uncoming deals, it shows $199 but the time for sale shows "starts at 9:00pm"

The Product page itself currently still shows $339.95 though; have to eat and see...
