From a quick read when the first link appeared for SC, it tended to indicate 8K (rather 8bit) panels sure don't do it as well as a 10bit

Yeah it's hard to spot if they actually offer it (10 bit) also.

Wemo bulb kits (2 lamps and the base) are down to $55 at noels now. The lamps on their own have disappeared from the site, but are $18 at harvey normans and bunnings. Kit still listed at $70ish at bunnings so perhaps on boxing day they will drop it down. Otherwise you can use the 15% thingie on it to get it cheaper than noels.

They were setting up a pile of them behind the counter at wairau when I was in earlier, guess that will be it for those.

Picked up a chromecast ultra and another audio chromecast today. Hoping they dont go cheaper on boxing day.

Speaking of things going cheaper, has anyone had experiances with the gem visa price protection and these boxing day sale prices?

mdav056:

Don't talk to me about Briscoes pre-Christmas sales...Selected the right coffee machine online, went to the local store, had 1 on display, none in boxes; went to one of their stores much further away, had 2 on display and none in boxes; not allowed to buy a display machine, told to order it online and it would be with me in 3 days; did that instore and received an email saying they couldn't immediately locate the machine, and it was on backorder (and they put a hold for the amount on my card); waited nearly 7 days (getting much too close to Christmas now, not looking forward to a Christmas and wife without coffee) and got an email saying they didn't have it and couldn't get it and the order was cancelled.  Drove to the original nearby Briscoes store, went next door to HN, and got one for $100 less than Briscoes' super sale price.

Moral?  You decide.

Surprised that noone mentioned this, but, Harvey Norman has a sale.
