Thanks. Strange why they didn't just say sold out.

Anyway, I guess I have "saved" $1899 ...for now :)

Apparently there is a compliance issue but we may see them listed again soon.

Please elaborate what you mean by compliance issue? With PB's backend or with the device itself?

I received notification today that mine has shipped. I'm presuming that's both the laptop and tablet.

It went around in circles in Auckland for a few days but finally arrived in regions today.

Looking forward to having a play tonight.

This machine has gone on sale again to $1796 slightly lower than launch price minus the tablet.

I'm thinking about getting one, wondering how those of you that have already got one are finding it?

I think it's a super-fast little machine. I have upgraded to Windows Pro (it comes with Windows Home) just so that I can have the Windows Sandbox feature enabled - it works like a charm. I also have Windows Application Guard enabled so I can have Microsoft Edge on a separate sandbox inside the main OS (unlike Windows Sandbox which is a full VM that completely disappears when you close it).

Also, it's WiFi is really good - consistently getting 650 Mbps speedtest results on a 900 Mbps fibre connection.

What is your feeling about the build quality? I have been buying macbooks primarily for this reason with the strong aluminium case, hinges etc. but interested to know how Windows laptops are going these days in comparison.

Up there with business high tier laptops really. No flimsy parts, satisfying lid closing. Robust.
