To add to the deals here, https://virtualrealityrental.co.nz/ (disclosure: this is my business!) is doing an offer, rent one Meta Quest 2, 3 or 3S, and you can add a second headset at half price. There's no limit to the actual rental dates, but the booking needs to be placed before Monday Dec 1st. If you're keen to play a lot of VR games but don't want to buy headsets, there's a ton of games included in the rental.

25% off Rentals of 2x Meta Quest 2, 3 or 3S VR Headsets (+ $17.90 Post + $17.90 Return Post + $150 Refundable Bond) @ VR Rental

Quest 2: Two sets, including nationwide non-rural postage both ways:

  • 3 nights: $163.30
  • 1 week: $208.30

Quest 3S: Two sets, including nationwide non-rural postage both ways:

  • 3 nights: $178.30
  • 1 week: $223.30

Quest 3: Two sets, including nationwide non-rural postage both ways:

  • 3 nights: $199.30
  • 1 week:, $244.30

Dates: Rentals must start and end on business days. Book by 1 Dec 2025; rentals can occur after this date.

  • A $150 refundable bond is taken per rental (per rental, not per headset)
  • Rural delivery addresses are an extra $5.30
  • Cheaper postage if delivery within Christchurch (take $21.90 off the totals above)

From 25% off Rentals of 2x Meta Quest 2, 3 or 3S VR Headsets (+ $17.90 Post + $17.90 Return Post + $150 Refundable Bond) @ VR Rental - ChoiceCheapies

Seen some on mightyape when I was scrolling thru other things, but it will have delivery costs because of the size that can be substantial.

Not sure if its a good black friday deal but all the physical retailers are selling Macbook Airs about 17% lower than directly from Apple. I always thought there wasn't much movement for apple products.

Apple BF deal goes live tomorrow with apple vouchers so getting actual cash discount is a much better deal.

Apple Direct

Apple's Education store is probably closer in price, $2199 for the 16/512GB config of the 13" M4 Air. I've seen this happen more often though with the M4 line in particular, maybe Apple is selling them to the retailers for even less than usual? They were at this pricing not too long after they launched as well.

I think it ends up being more than $99 unless I'm looking in the wrong place. It's $119 on Amazon AU, $174.58 on Amazon.com (US site) with $21.48 shipping.

I would be surprised if you find any within your budget. But for a little more you will probably be able to get an IKEA one when they open in Auckland in the beginning of December.

Ikea have them in Aus, so might be a good option from next week. Not sure what the pricing will be.

The Mx Master 3S is $99 AUD, which is $114 on Amazon AU, with free shipping. Prime Video has 75% off most add-on subscriptions for 2 months, and I just bought a couple of subscriptions without having an active main prime video subscription. Quite a steal, Lionsgate for $1 and MGM+ for $1.50, and no ads for the add-on content.

Absolutely no Black Weeks deals this year. I'm sparing myself the drama because we have everything we need so far. Relaxed. 🙂

Any bought from NotBadTech before?

Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE for $99 seems like a great deal or is there something fishy?
