Missed a bargain right there ! $199 now.

Out of interest can the office 360 be transferred to your PC when not using the tablet? (not sure how 360 works)

Personal office that comes with these tablets are for 1 tablet and 1 PC/Mac

So you can have it on the tablet and 1 other machine. Just remember however it's only for 1 year and then you have to pay again.

Are you sure about that? I bought one of these and as I understand it, the Stream 7 is classed a s PC because it runs full Windows 8.1. It comes pre-installed on the Stream 7, and once activated, you can't activate it on another PC. The additional "tablet" would be an IOS device or maybe an Android device?

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz

I activated my O365 on my Stream and a desktop PC plus have the android Office apps on my phone which don't count as a user

Do a bit of googling as you can convert a single user acct to a 5 user acct

I had a look here: https://www.thurrott.com/cloud/office-365/847/tip-convert-office-365-personal-office-365-home-just-9-99

nd couldn't believe this loophole still exists, if it still does. I don't need 365 on additional devices, but would be very interested if this still works. Seems too good to be true :-)

I've been using this tablet quite a lot as a steam streaming device, it's decoding the video great and you can turn down the video quality quite a lot without noticing it so much on the small, low res screen which is a more enjoyable experience than my 1080P 10" tablet where you can see every bit of artefacts - this is all so I can get closer to 60FPS streaming.

I want to get the PS4 controller and the Z3 cellphone holder accessory so I can run it over Bluetooth and have the tablet mounted to the controller.

I set mine up to test XB1 game streaming, and had variable results depending on the game.  Things like car games and 3rd person games (eg diablo) were great.  However things like FPSs were a problem, because they relied on small graphics that were hard to pick out on the 7" screen.  For example the red dot in the center of the red dot sight.

How was the fluidity?

Did you have the controller plugged into the tablet via OTG or were you just close enough to the Xbox to run the controller from that?

While on the same wifi network the input lag was fine, when I extended the whole thing to a few KM away via a VPN I could feel the existence of input lag in FPS play, but not in car racing gameplay.  I did get a couple of stutters in the VPN link, but that's understandable and it's an unsupported use for that reason.  To be fair it didn't do that often, and I did have the settings on high.

FPS was playable, just not as snappy as it should be, and I'd want to stick to single player.. adding any lag to multiplayer is asking for trouble.

I obviously have the controller attached via USB otherwise the VPN test would fail.

Guess I might give it a go then. I kinda wrote off game streaming after the PS4 to the PS TV streaming was a steaming pile of crap even when both were on wired connections.

The PSTV/PSVita are both really bad at streaming I think, their hardware is more than capable of decoding 1080P60 it just seem their network components are really terrible.
