Fabian: Once the 'Dick Smith Nines' have been and gone i believe we will find out whats really happening. They will be holding on till then as that will be big egg on their face if they folded before then.

It has to be the only boxing day sale deal, that actually ends before boxing day ac occurs. eg It begins on Christmas eve, but ends on Chrstmas day.

Did they actually have an adequate amount of stock for this promotion? Online it says availability instore only. Yet the deal is an online only one. When I tried the site at 4pm, all the links just went to 404 error pages.

I believe it's being done intentionally. I suspect they will "un 404" on boxing day AM or something.

Rebel Sport have 30% off everything, excluding already discounted.

That INCLUDES Supporters sports gear such as NRL, Rugby, Cricket etc. Generally its only 15%, but I have seen 20% every so often.

The JB hi fi sale looks a non event from the items they showed on TV. $398 for the sony amp, which last year they had in their sale for $290. I picked one up last year at that price.

Umm you realize it's not the same stock as from then and in the the meantime the NZD vs USD Exchange rate is about 20c different? It's still a great deal.
