Last year the sale was on the multi-user licence which was great, but I should have bought more than one copy...
For anyone who has bought something in the last month and sees it cheaper during the sales, if you paid for it using a premium credit card check the insurances that come bundled with the card to see if price protection is included. You may be able to claim the difference back.
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
kiwiharry:tripp:
kiwiharry:larknz: Microsoft Office 365 single user for $77 at NL
Thanks for that. Will get a few to stack on my account.
$75 at pbtech
Has a buy limit of 2 at PB Tech and cost almost same once Credit Card fee is also factored in.
PBTech have disabled click and collect for the sale too, so need to factor in shipping. Noel Leemings looks to be digital delivery which I assume is free.

What I do is just buy a stack (3-5 copies) of Office 365 Personal when on sale.
Do a in-place upgrade from Personal to Home for the 1 month at a cost of $16.
Enjoy Home edition until your subscription runs out.
Dyson V10 Absolute is $869 in Harvey Norman

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

BNZ Platinum card is the only credit card in NZ that I'm aware of with this. Gem used to, but their site doesn't make any mention that I can see.

Just had a close look at the BNZ T&C and there are many interesting exclusions. E.g. mobile phones are excluded, internet purchases excluded, limited offers excluded, etc. Wonder if anyone has bothered to claim on it and whether it is easy to do so.

OK understood but where do I get 6TB storage for less that NZ$115 a year?
I've been on the lookout for a 4TB portable HDD for a few months. Due to the Trump tariffs many imported products from China are now more expensive in the US than NZ (this has hit the tech sector hard) so I didn't get one while in the US in October.
PB Tech have been selling the 4TB Seagate for $148.99 which is the same price they have been since October, with the price dropping a couple of $ during their Black Friday sale.
JB HiFi now have the same 4TB Seagate for $149 "save $60".
Yeah nah.

During the year I just keep an eye on the sales, NL quite often has Home for $99, I was able to stack some other NL codes on my last 12mth sub and got it for$69.
