How does the music selection compare to say other music services like Prime Music with Amazon or Spotify? I find stuff really hard to "find" in the MS Store.

Well my Onecard doesn't work as a payment method either. Anyone managed to get payments working?

Not had any problem using kiwibank visa debit card with vpn.  However this has not been done for a few weeks though since my pc died and have to save up for a new hard drive.

Can someone let me know if they have a twitter or RSS feed which updates with the latest offers without requiring me to login to my compatible account and open the app please?

Also still keen to know if someone has managed to get NZ payments working for it?

Bump, any luck with payment types or a list of current promos? Logging into another account is a pita.

Well I got my (a) pc up and running but I can't open any apps on it from the windows store so can't tell you if it's no longer working for me.

I purchase the 12 months subscription for $30 ~ $50 from MS US store during black friday sale via PayPal and then redeem the code on the Xbox Music website. Works fine that way for me.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Well I finally got my SSD to allow it to be used as the primary windows drive and installed a fresh windows 8 on it (8.1 now) which in turn got my app store working loaded up tunnelbear and got into the music deals app and it seems to be working.  Sadly I didn't see any albums I'd like that I didn't have so can't confirm if there's been any changes to accepting payment via CC.

An alternative for you networkn could be to try buying a US MS store credit via somewhere like Amazon (pretty sure they can send the code digitally) or playasia then by default as long as you're logged in as being a US customer (still assume you'd need to do this via vpn) it'll instantly access the store credit as the default payment type.  I use the US xbox website for nearly all game purchases and have no issues using our Kiwibank visa debit card as payment.  Oddly using Hola and Smartglass on my phone doesn't work anymore.
