Bought the Nexus 6 for $199 USD ($305NZD). Absolutely cannot beat that price-performance ratio.

Couldn't you guys have bought the Nexus 6 before the sale, and then use the 7 day if price is lower refund policy thing Amazon does?

Went to get this and it came up that the cart isnt working and the time it gives that it will be working is when the deal runs out. WTF sort of crap is that?

zhuyan: It's for grab now!!!  The white one 32GB is $199; I just grabbed one! :)

Brought one for me, one for the wife.

Received this today.

"We wanted to let you know that we have shipped your items. We've combined 2 "Motorola Nexus 6 Unlocked..." from your orders together in the same package. "

Gee, thanks Amazon :-(

To think, I didn't get the 64GB one to avoid import duty...

You probably would have got nailed anyway... and paid more for shipping. You needed to have different shipping addresses if you wanted to fly under the radar...

Surely he could have shipped his wife's phone with her name as the receiver? Duty is per-person right?

Spoke to soon. I think you're right. Though if he'd done that surely Amazon wouldn't have combined them, even though the same "address"?

The delivery address was youshop due to having to route it through there, therefore, I had to use the details for the freight forwarding company. Perhaps I could have used a different receiver name as well as my own name with youshop, but, I was under time pressure to order before they ran out. Plan was to, from youshop, ship one to me, and one to my wife (different addresses).

Learning's for the future - If you mark one of them as a gift, that should prevent consolidation of multiple orders.

Edit - If only youshop offered an unconsolidation service...
