You seem annoyed. Can I ask what you were expecting?

Ild love to know too.
Seems like you had a few issues with the setup of them? or was there another issue we should all be aware of? performance wasn't as good as your normal kit?

Surprised as you've got an Edgerouter too which are not designed for home use ;) - These enterprise AP's are a little tough to configure but performance is excellent once you do. Will be interested to know what happened.

I expected a high-end Wireless Access Point - which I got.
I was also expecting some basic information about the initial setup and activation - which was a very complex and frustrating and under-documented procedure from my perspective (I am not a network professional).
To put it politely, setup was not intuitive.
In the end it performed no better that my existing Ubiquiti system, and had a whole lot of complex features that I would never use.
So I onsold the units at cost, remarkably quickly.

mcraenz: Hey Michael, have you done any performance comparisons between the e400 and xi3?
I don't have an e400 of my own to test just yet on my network however will once GoWiFi get more stock in then either the Xclaim or the e400 will go to my parents to aid with their VDSL connection coming soon :)

Cambuim is a division of Motorola (Basically their Enterprise Wireless Division). Talking to a colleague in the USA he thinks they are pretty good. Will be a lot better in coming months as they execute their roadmap for improving the current range post release.
Cambrium is actually not part of Motorola as such - they were created when Motorola quit the market. The Canopy management team were backed by private equity and started Cambrium and purchased the Canopy division from Motorola.
Since then a lot of the original Canopy team have headed in other directions with a few heading to UBNT to launch Air Fiber.
