Ramjet007:

They could up the min spend from $20 to $40 or $80

That would certainly help to make it more viable, but even at that level they'd likely make a loss on a fair proportion of the sales, especially with items that are bulky.

I guess it depends how desperate they are to push sales volumes.

I know with my own business that it's becoming increasingly difficult at the moment with significantly higher shipping costs (along with all the other elevated costs).

Just tried and says promo code SHIPITTOMEis not valid. Perhaps only valid with account holder who received code.

Says it was to the 20th on the cheapies thread. I tried to order some more cat5e yesterday and still had to pay shipping even with it added, it accepted the code but I guess its only for some shipping or something.

Needed the cable anyway to get some IP cameras installed so was going to pay for it anyway.

Is this actually working for anyone? It applies successfully but doesn't actually result in any reduction in shipping cost.

You may need to purchase as a guest (incognito window). It doesn't seem to work along side any other type of discount.

It worked for me. I got free delivery on an item that was also discounted.

However, I did receive an email from PB Tech with the discount code as a "PB Tech Insider", so maybe you have to be signed up as an "Insider" for it to work?

I think it might depend on the discount type. I've got a work code, and even though I can "delete" it at checkout, it doesn't seem to matter, it still won't apply the free shipping. But if I'm not logged in, it works fine. (I didn't get the insider email)
