James Bond:

Cyber Monday prices are up - same prices as Black Friday?

I hope the PBTech website doesn't crash come Monday evening...

Was looking at Sony WH-1000XM3 but see all stock in black sold out on Black Friday. Guess they won't have anymore by monday :-(

For the people talking headphones.... I see that PB Tech's daily deal is a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 down to $69 from $399: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HSTSEN506251/Sennheiser-Momentum-20-I-M2-On-Ear-Headphones---Bl

Disclaimer: I have no idea if these are any good or not

Sold out online, in store only.

Got one from store just now. Never tried Sennheiser before and was tempted at the price drop really.

Keen on some of these but would need it to be available online?

Are you really suggesting these two things are the same, even in the same ballpark, or are you just trolling?

Absolutely not, I knew someone would take it the wrong way. I could have posted the same question without the first line , it’s only there as it’s topical and so people would understand the point being made.
It’s purely a lighthearted comment about how pc everything is becoming and should be taken that way, absolutely no offence intended, so please don’t take any
And anyway, I wouldn’t know how to be a troll ;-)

Yeah surely not, one describes a race while another decides the event.

But yeah... Was reading reviews on the momentum 2s for $70, think I'll give them a pass, don't know if the reviews also take into them being $400 instead of $70 though.

Dial111: Honest question, are the discounts really that good it’s worth queuing for?

You'll have to check pricespy to see if the price drop is actually a significant drop.

- need to also consider they have 2 years of warranty added on instead of 1 (yes we all know warranty is bs)

- a lot of headphones are sitting at the lowest retail price in nz so far though so credits to them for that.

So yes the deals are real but it's still up to you if that deal is worth it. Imo it's an opportunity to get that appliance you've had your eyes on for a while, not a good opportunity to be like... OMG p20 pro for $700? Got to get that when your current phone is A+ already.

Edit: Worth queing outside for?
Saving $100 waiting 2hrs I reckon is worth it. Imagine it as you working to save up for that item, you work less hours to get that item now.

I guess those who would complain are too busy being outraged on social media about something "trivial"

Why does PBTech have their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales a week earlier than everyone else?

Isn't 'Black Friday' this weekend coming?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_(shopping)

I see the other retailers are doing it this weekend (Noels, The Warehouse, Harvey Norman, JB etc).

To take advantage of the sales for longer period of times, and to get the money from the punters before they really have to compete, with everyone else next weekend.

That's my guess.

These guys are a crack up, still up to their old ways.

Micro SD card included in their cyber Monday sale advertising as normally $48.99 and down to $21.85, but click on it and the normal price right now is $39.00 😂

Still a reasonably significant saving on the 'everyday' price - even if it isn't quite as much as they make it out to be.
