networkn: Get an i5, and a higher resolution screen. You won't miss the processing power, but you will find 1366 resolution to be rubbish.

unless you're a MacBook Air user, in which case you'll find the magical revolutionary state of the art choice of 1366x768 or 1440x900

Harvey Norman site shows Big Sale Deal prices in special red text - but with no 'usual price' shown. Ridiculous.

2 things: some people say the powerful exhaust points at the floor and blows all the crap into the air - i presume that's a problem for non carpeted floors only?

AND - i had a $1000 vac for 5 years - great - but within 2 weeks of handing it over to my cleaner she managed to break all the electrical connections.
- will this happen to this dyson?

I have had my dyson for about 7 or 8 years, never had any issue with it and the flatmate normally breaks things.

Our cleaner also seems fine with it.  It's the cat that has the issue with the machine so I don't get him to vacuum anymore :P

This laptop at PBTech seems decent value but the title and quick facts say 8gb of ram but the specs say 4gb? That seems mighty misleading!

JVC 55" DLED (not sure what that is) TV for $689. Apparently good for the price, today only, but I'd definitely be reading reviews before I purchased.

I used to trust JVC. It is HUGE in Asia. Almost unheard of in NZ. Quality of the blacks and whites could affect certain buyers though.
