Interesting, I got an email with a tax invoice. Jumped onto the lego site and checked my account and there is a new order for my Kākāpō, this time there's tracking details!
OMFG, let's hope it actually turns up now.
The same thing has happened to me. The tracking number doesn't seem to do anything yet, though. 😁
One week on, nothing has arrived, and the tracking number still doesn't work. 😒

We're so sorry for this experience. Please be assured that this new order is certainly registered in our system - and the parcel is in transit now. We are following up and seeking confirmation from DHL on the tracking of the parcel, do give us some time to get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you very much for your patience.

Just checked again and the tracking number now shows something with DHL. 😀

Followed this up with support, and the rep says they can't send it again (because it's a Bricklink set and they can't re-send carrier returns), so I should get a refund within 2-3 weeks (because they're doing a lot of refunds 😏). What a cluster.

Yes, like how hard is it to ship an order and if they are not the ones sending it (like i was told) then they really need to get on the phone to the 3rd party and ask what the f*** is going on when you send them.
I bet it's some dumb thing like someone made a change which dropped the 2nd address line and no one has notice when sending them out so they are all getting returned again.
Still nothing and no tracking number, I've given up on this ever arriving now.
My order was shipped with a tracking number which initially didn't work, and when it finally did, it said returned to sender.
After an email to Lego customer support, they claim it to be issue with my address and to send an alternate address.
I have since sent this and am yet to hear anything further back.
Bloody annoying!!!!!!!!!

Lucky if they have. Other agents have advised they can't redirect or ship another to ensure as it is a custom manufactured order (IE they can't shut the factory down again) so auto refund.
Labels are hard.
I am really sorry that you haven't received the tracking information for this order. I took a look into the matter and was informed by a supervisor that we are currently experiencing issues with Australian and New Zealand Bricklink related orders.
This is in regards to issues with labeling and the proper team is working hard with DHL to correct the situation. I made sure they are aware of your order, and we will be working to get it to you as soon as possible!
Once we receive further update on the situation, we will be reaching out to you in regards to your order. Once again I am incredibly sorry for all the back and forth this has caused. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.
Woah. An out of the blue follow up email (their system can work when they try)
With a shipping number!!!
And it states is mid way from Melb to chc. With an eta by end of day 27th. The clock begins.
Thank you so much for your patience waiting for our updates.
I'm here to give you the latest update on the current situation.
Unfortunately, DHL have had some technical issues with their system and this has caused many orders to be sent back to the warehouse. They are working on all the affected order one by one and reshipping it with a new tracking number.
They are planning to get everything sorted out by next Friday.
I will still be looking out for your order and give you an update as soon as available.
Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.
Well to my surprise my replacement "Bricks & Pieces" order (just loose pieces to make up the set, but no box or instructions) was delivered today. I received an email that it had been shipped on July 26, so it took just over 8 weeks to arrive. I have no idea what happened to my original order, but I suspect that it was sent from Lego to DHL without my street name or number which would make it difficult to deliver!
For reference to others still waiting, I never received any tracking details from DHL and there is still no tracking number for my order on the Lego website when I log in now.
