Tho I'm not sure if the xbox 360 is a great purchase, Microsoft has not really paid attention to it like Sony has with the PS3.  With the PS3 you're going to get good support for the next 3 years or so, with PS+ giving you great titles throughout that, I know now there is games with Xbox Live, but how long will that go on for?  Plus upgrading storage is a hassle for the download only games.

Just a heads up :)

Why? I got a $150 one and a $89 320 gig drive so $10 less and more storage.

That could be true. I was happy to get the 360 arcade for $150 a couple of weeks ago.

It works great for youtube and netflix and hulu. I was going to get another $150 one to get those on the garage TV but they had sold out. $250 is a little too much to spend when I can get all I need from another firetv.

Can't believe how bad it looks in composite into my old hd monitor. Looks like I'm up for a hdmi cable + dvi adaptor. Fingers crossed for a good result.

Edit: Finger crossing not required here: 100% compatible:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#Compatibility_with_DVI

I can't believe they ship it with a composite cable. Even the wii u came with hdmi. Good thing I didn't bin the composite cable from the 360 as I should be able to use it on my new raspberry pi.

Interesting; I bought my 360 back in 2008 and it came with an HDMI cable.
