Would have been good to see this yesterday when I bought 9 of them from PBtech.... but then I have already had them delivered so swings and roundabouts.

The Chromecast I am using currently was purchased from the USA, I have had no issues.

Mine arrived in courier this morning. Nice work from Amazon - their mail said they expected delivery on or around 7/11, and its here 3 days early. I love companies that know how to underpromise and overdeliver.
I know what I'll be playing with after work...

You do know how a Chromecast works right? Unless if it specifically has a Cast button on an app, you will have to cast the tab from your laptop to the Chromecast. And so if the Hola extension works on your laptop, I don't see why it wouldn't work if you are just mirroring your browser tab to Cc. Same goes for the NZ on demand sites.
