How long does the locking last for? Is it 6 months?

Seems like a nice deal.

Guessing it's the same one Noel Leeming have at a similar price point:

Noel Leeming one doesn't specify that it is locked, and also states 8GB instead of 4GB?

Good spotting.

I think the 8GB may be a typo. Seems like the 530 only comes with a 4GB SKU flavour.

That's a great price for a good phone. My wife loves the 520 which is very similar.

Other useful details:
512MB RAM
quad-core processor
Windows 8.1

Anyone looking at the 530 might want to compare the Nokia Lumia 520 which is currently on special for $129.95 at PBTech. If you want to use it with 2Degrees then they work out the same price.

They both have 512MB RAM. The 520 is older but has a dedicated camera button, a better display (IPS has better viewing angles and brightness than the TFT on the 530) and 8GB of storage instead of 4GB. On the other hand the 530 soundly beats the 520 in benchmark tests because the 520 processor is only 1GHz dual-core compared with the 530's 1.2GHZ quad-core.
