Amazon Black Friday deals online now... And updating every ten minutes: http://gkz1.co/1udjlsS.

Looking around and I see huge discounts (50% or more) on electronics. Pretty good stuff. YouShop FTW!

Not sure if serious but... It is a period of discounted shopping just before the main Christmas sales start in the USA.

bazzer: What does Black Friday even mean?

Black Friday

From my understanding Black Friday is/was when the books (accounting) go back in the black (meaning profit etc) many shops run in the red during the months before hand.
So they tend to have big sales as it's right after thanks giving and coming up to xmas.
Was a US thing until a few years ago (and thanks to the internet) other countries started to do it as well.
Cyber Monday also started a couple of years ago which is the online version of it.

I know what it is, but isn't it meant to be the Friday after Thanksgiving?

Having a week long sale is like having Boxing Day sales before Christmas. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not a Boxing Day sale, is it?

I am on the lookout for the Toshiba Chromebook 2 (13 inch with 1080p screen). If anyone comes across a decent price drop on this, please let me know here. Thanks!!
