I have received reports of a HK-based company contacting Geekzone users via PM offering then a commission for link drops into the "Bargains and Deals" forums.

Our policy for this "Bargains and Deals" forum is for Geekzone users to recommend good findings to others. It's not a place for retailers to promote their business. Acting as a proxy for any company is not acceptable either.

We have banned that account and made the company name/URL a "bad word". No one can post links to that company anymore even in a different context. Thank you to the users who reported this inappropriate behaviour to us.

If we see affiliate links to these companies being dropped into this forum YOUR account is the one being banned.
