I hope this isn't old news but Google Play Devices has come to NZ!
Only two devices so far (Nexus 9 tablet and Chromecast) but the price is good - Nexus 9 pricing is as good as anything on PriceSpy with 16GB at $559 + $16 shipping and 32GB at $689.

If my wishes come true we'll get Motorola phones one day.. :)

They are quite pricey when you compare them to ipad minis, which seem to retain their value too.

Nexus 9 gets pretty average reviews

no mSD and crappy keyboard/folio case (WTH is with 2 large Emoji keys on keyboard instead of real useful keys"

It's not so much about the n9 itself but that Play Store finally has hardware that we can buy without using a VPN to mask our IP address
