Unfortunately they do not ship to NZ.....you'll need to use an onward goods shipper.

Some do, some don't, depending on the day and moon... When we had a previous Anker deal they did ship to NZ directly. You will have to check. Even if you use a forwarder it is still the best desktop charger you can get around.

Yes, the anker is great but the competition is heating up.

Eg, this one, 4.5 stars on amazon,  6 ports/50w, 22usd,.     It is almost as good as the anker for a lot less money, and ships to NZ (unlike the anker deal) ...

This could be very helpful for my upcoming holiday - 2 iPhones and 2 iPads to charge - would be nice to only have to use one power plug.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Jaxson: I have one of each of these:

http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Portable-Travel-4-USB-Port-Wall-Charger-Adapter-For-Phone-MP3-MP4-USB-Device-AU-p-50526.html

http://www.banggood.com/4-USB-Ports-2A-Mini-Auto-Car-Power-Charger-Adapter-For-iPhone-iPad-p-86066.html

All working well for me.
Normally with these sort of things you'll get 2 ipad level outputs and 2 normals.

Have owned one of these for ~2 years. Will put out a good 1.6A on two channels ok, if you add load to the other two it tends to overheat and drop back the current. I've been worried about it's heat enough to unplug it a couple of times. I suspect it has no overheat failure protection. It is capable of charging my note2 and LG G pad 8.3 tab simultaneously in around 5hrs. Bonus feature is a normal figure 8 lead will plug in where the travel adapter usually sits.

Is there anything decent/reputable that is sold locally? Preferably not with too much of a NZ tax applied to it.

Reality is... never heard of "Laser" before. While Anker seems to be a well known brand - they even have a website and were founded by some Google engineers.

Point taken. However while Laser isn't a premium brand it has been around since 1987 and is Australian so I'm surprised you've never heard of them.

That has a US plug on it so you are limtied to where you can use them.

Ive been trying to find one with a detachable cable so I can put a legit cable on it but come up blank so far.

Youshop - or any other site that will ship to NZ.

Unless you're planning on using it in the US or Japan it's a waste of time though, US plugs are horrible if you have to use an adapter all the time.
