It might be a be late now but I think I've score a bit of a bargain. I got my self a DeLonghi Oil Column Heater 11 Fin 2.4kw for $187, orgianal price $299. Taking advantage of Mitre 10 mega price promise by beating anybody else prices by 15%, I found the same product at Biscos for $220.

As Far as I know I got the last DeLonghi Oil Column avaialble from Mitre 10 Mega in the wellington region.

Is that really a good deal? What makes this heater better than a typical cheap one? A heaters is a heater as far as I can tell.

Are my wife has a horor story of her sister tripping in the night and smashing her head on the fins of the oil heater. The DeLonghi design incapsulates the fins in a smart design. Plus it comes with a 7 year warranty.
